For those with DIE, can bowel lesions cause symptoms even when there's no actual bowel obstruction?

've been having this weird feeling of needing to pass stool even after I've just gone, along with sharp pain deep inside whenever there's gas moving through. Some days I'm constipated and other days I have to rush to the toilet. I'm trying to understand if this happens because the bowel is being pulled by adhesions or if the lesions have actually grown into the bowel wall. Has anyone had these symptoms with DIE and found out what was causing them on MRI or during surgery?
