The charcuterie tool box…
Ok so hear me out again! Hospital visits for appointments can be long and boring and often go longer than expected (especially if the car park is terrible) so if you want something to either keep you going or to look forward to afterwards then pack a tool box! I bought this cheap tool box and filled it with charcuterie treats and it was such a delight to enjoy after what was a rather stressful appointment!
This could work for other times too… the possibilities are endless!

Ok so I did say my period flow and pain would be the thing to make me a firm believer!
So after having key hole surgery almost 3 months ago and being diagnosed with ENDOMETRIOSIS and ADENOMYOSIS, but period pain was worse than ever!. I went from taking 15 mg of codeine every 4-6 hours to 30 mg of codeine every 4-6 hours. I also have such heavy periods I have to use maternity pads. I also always have leakage over night when I'm sleeping.
This was my normal, hence why I chose to have the surgery to clean out but it didn't work....
I decided to put SP6 on spleen 6 two days ago. I wasn't sure when my period was due but 2 days later with the patch it arrived! Normally the first night of having my period, I have terrible sleep because I wake up in pain and usually leakage.
This morning I woke up forgetting that I even had my period and my flow was no where near as what I have experienced. Maybe 1/16th of my old flow... if that.
For the first time in YEARS I am not using maternity pads instead I am actually on a regular normal pad.
Now guess how many pain killers I took today?? 0!!!!!!!
This is unbelievable Karen, I can't remember a time I had little flow, not using maternity pads and no pain killers.
I had very little cramping pain but I decided to use ice wave on spleen 6 and placed ice wave underneath SP6 and GUESS WHAT???
No pain... not even a little bit.... nothing... nudda....
My husband is shocked ! Because normally I can't even walk to the medicinal cabinet to get the codeine that he has to get it for me. I can barley even make it up off the bed until the codeine kicks in.
I also normally get the odd hormonal pimple during my period and I have nothing! My face is clear.
I still can't believe this!
You just don't understand how unbearable the first day of my period was for me and I finally for once was able to function today and still go to work etc.
