My wife has suffered for 25 years!

I met my wife when we were 15 and we’ve been together ever since. She has suffered from endometriosis, PCOS, adenomyosis, meiosis and uterine fibroids.

She was dismissed for many years and then went on a surgical journey with little to no success. It is evolved into metastatic ovarian enhancer and she has a 11” x 12” uterine mass fibroid in her abdomen that is out of control. Attached is the tumor of the uterus that fills up her abdomen.

I’ve been by your side from the beginning until my heart goes out each of you who are battling these conditions. So sad! Uterine fibroid tumor

  1. My heart goes out to you and your wife. Your journey sounds straining and exhausting. I'm so sorry you both are going through that. She's a true warrior. Being dismissed by the doctor is so frustrating and unfortunately is a common experience for many folks in this community. Learning how to self advocate can become a superpower. I'm going to leave an article here which gives some helpful tips for self advocating, for you and anyone else who may need it. https://endometriosis.net/living/tips-for-advocating-for-yourself-2

Has your wife found a doctor at this point who she has a good relationship with? What are her next steps as far as the tumor in her uterus? I hope she's not in too much pain in the meantime.

Sending you both warm hugs and healing thoughts.
