Has anyone taken Pause tablet for pain and bleeding
Jagori
I wanted to know since my gynaec gave that to me this time saying it’s one less medicine but I have this question now what do I do when I don’t have bleeding as this has tranexemic acid
Hi . Unfortunately, we are not medical experts, so it wouldn't be safe for us to give you advice about this kind of thing. Have you reached out to your doctor? You can try calling a pharmacist as well since they are so knowledgeable about drugs and interactions. Pause tablets are not usually prescribed for long-term use. Have you been taking it for long? How did your doctor instruct you to take it? I wish I had more answers for you. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

the pause tablet has tranexemic acid in it are you saying it’s not safe for long term use.? It has both mefenemic and transnexemic.I can only go to gynaec next month unfortunately.I will then ask her for sure.

Hi . Sorry if I worded that poorly. I simply meant that it is usually not precsribed for long-term use, but I have no idea why. - Lori (Team Member)

Thanks ,I understand I shouldn’t be asking this here.No this is first time it’s been prescribed to me.As usual am anxious to start anything new so wanted to know if anyone had it.She asked me to take this thrice a day for 3 days.Gynecs don’t want to talk..makes me so angry sometimes ,I have tried so many docs but every time I end up with a doc who wouldn’t listen.

I wish your doctor had given you more information, . It's perfectly reasonable to want to understand why you are taking something and how it will impact you. Hopefully, others here will chime in with their own experience. In the meantime, can you message your doctor for more information? It might help put you at ease. - Lori (Team Member)
