Has anyone had uncontrollable bleeding

My daughter has endometriosis and adenomyosis. She bleeds 2 weeks out of the month. It's horrible. Has anyone had this and been able to successfully stop it and live a some what normal life without constant bleeding??

  1. I'm so sorry to hear that your daughter has been dealing with this! I'm sure it must be frustrating as a mother to see your daughter in pain and not be able to help. Although I don't have experience with this directly, I was able to pull up a few articles that might be helpful.

This one is a general overview of abnormal bleeding. It includes some treatment options at the end: https://endometriosis.net/living/bleeding-while-traveling

This one talks about how to deal with periods that last more than 10 days: https://endometriosis.net/living/heavy-constant-bleeding

And this author talks about traveling with excessive bleeding: https://endometriosis.net/living/bleeding-while-traveling

How has your daughter been in the past few weeks? Has she spoken to a doctor about how to manage her conditions?
