Surgery timelines

Hey all, I'm in Western Australia. Having a particularly bad flare up at the moment and still in the process of being diagnosed. Just wondering how soon surgery can be scheduled if I'm a private patient? So anxious and desperate to know whats going on, I'm hoping to have my second follow up with my gynae this week after doing the ultrasounds and blood tests she's asked for. I know she performs the surgery and mentioned we will do it - just want it to be asap.... Anyone know whats the soonest it could be? TIA

  1. Hi . I first want to say that my heart is going out to you especially right now since you mentioned you are experiencing a particularly bad flare. Wish I could give you a big hug right now. I'm not personally familiar with medical practices in Australia so I can't speak to the timing and scheduling of surgeries, unfortunately. I totally get feeling anxious and desperate to know what's going on. It can be so frustrating experiencing these symptoms in our body and not necessarily know what's going on. I truly do hope that your gyno will be able to at least get the ball rolling asap for you. I'm sending good vibes and well wishes for a quick surgery date for you to get some answers. 💛💛💛 Warmly, Kayleigh, Endometriosis.net team
