I am a writer for the RLS group and recently wrote an article about how I practice self-care daily (https://restlesslegssyndrome.sleep-disorders.net/living/self-care)
I decided I wanted to start a discussion on here about self-care because there are those of us who suffer with Endometriosis who practice self-care.
One of the main things I talk about in the article about self-care is how there are many who believe that self-care is selfish. I am here to say it is absolutely not selfish at all, it is critical to life, especially for those of us who live with a disease(s).
There are things you may even do that are self-care without you fully realizing that it is self-care.
My biggest form of self-care, being mindful. That way I try to avoid triggering things that will cause me pain.
Do you practice self-care?
