Pets of Endometriosis.net

Our pets are like family members and they play such a huge role in our overall mental and physical health.

They're there for us on the good days and the bad days, always ready to cheer us up and make us smile.

Share a pic of your pet and tell us about them below!

  1. This is Gunther. Gunny is my first dog and boy oh boy, he can be a lot lol. He is obstinate, willful, stubborn, insanely smart, and tests me like no other. He is also a velcro pup, always the first to give kisses and cuddle, tries to make us laugh constantly, wants to "get under" his blankets at all times, will do pretty much anything for a treat, and is genuinely one of the sweetest and silliest pups I've ever known. To know this big lug is to love him.

He is easily the best part of my day. I love how intuitive he is and can sense when I need a little extra love and comfort but also when I just need a good laugh. Even while writing this, Gunther is staring at me as if to say "Mom, you should stop typing and come cuddle with me. It'll be good for you."

What did we ever do to deserve these guys? 😊 πŸ’›This is one of my favorite pictures of Gunther in all of his teenage dirtbag glory after a long, happy, and messy afternoon at the dog park.

    1. oh my gosh, Gunther is the cutest! Just seeing his picture is. making my day better! Thanks for sharing, ! -Audrey

    2. Awe thanks Audrey! He really is the best little dude. Do you have any pets? πŸ’› Kayleigh, Endometriosis.net team

  2. What an adorable nugget! That tongue and that mischievous smile!! ~Katrina, Endo.net Advocate

    1. Hahaha you so nailed it with the mischievous part. He is always keeping me guessing, that's for sure! He loves to get under the blankets and burrito up for naps and today he thought it would be a great idea to kick off all of my bedding onto the floor and curl up under the blankets there to nap. I had literally just made the bed. This guy πŸ™„ lol!

    2. Ha! Pets are hilarious. And it's so hard to get mad when they are so adorable!

  3. Here is Mr. Harvey Milk Engelkat. I've had him for almost a year now (rescued from the Humane Society). He has kept me sane during the pandemic and although he isn't much of a lap cat yet, he is getting more cuddly all the time. Sometimes he sleeps next to my head at night, and around 10 pm every night he comes to sleep under the covers while I read before bed. We play multiple times a day, and he really enjoys watching the birds at the bird feeder. Officially, he's an emotional support animal, and I'm so glad I pursued that with my therapist because my rental doesn't typically allow pets. 1. I know right? I love his eyes. Harvey definitely makes me work for it, although just yesterday he climbed up on the back of my office chair and onto my shoulder for head butts.

    2. Harvey is so handsome! He looks pretty comfy with you holding him in this photo--so nice to hear that he is opening up to snuggling. I didn't know that you could get a rental waiver for an emotional support animal, that's awesome. I miss having a kitty! Thanks for sharing--seeing his cute face makes my day! love, Audrey
