I need tips on how to manage heavy bleeding

I have been looking for some work from home options which are mostly 5 monthly basis or project basis. My only concern is during the days I bleed heavily,I find I can’t move. The more I move the more it bleeds.Unfortunately I really cannot take pills or tablets,I suffer from vertigo and other issues,Are there any tips how others manage heavy bleeding any diet change or any management tip.I even find I cannot apply heat, instead ice packs suit better.Last couple of months it were bit manageable still but this month my bleeding was on a different scale and left me terrified and fatigued.Could be vaccine or my diet too.I also notice that when my periods end usually around 6th day my pelvic feels heavy.Could someone also point to some good pelvic exercise videos,I noticed the ones posted here didn’t work.I am taking iron capsules started this month - Ferrous Fumarate .

  1. hello there. Sorry to hear of your continued struggles. I know it is not easy and definitely not fun at all. Of course I am not a doctor so I would certainly ask a medical professional before you try this but I have heard Vitamin C could help reduce bleeding. Some foods to try and avoid would be things like salt, chocolate, honey, coffee, sugar, red meats, anything spicy or dairy. I would drink more water for sure. Utilize ginger, water filled fruits, leafy greens, turmeric and even something like quinoa, can all be helpful to have. Of course, everyone is different, including their dietary needs, so this is just an example.

As for pelvic exercise videos, I would suggest going to YouTube and typing in pelvic exercises in the search and it should give you a bunch to choose from so you can take your pick and see what is most helpful for you 😀

Hoping the iron capsules help! I heard it was good to take those as well with heavy bleeding! -Kimberli (team member)

    1. Of course! I have honey everyday too in my tea and I wonder if it could be a culprit. So I have been trying to take it out! Well see! But yes, diet is a real big culprit to a lot of things, at least that's what I have been learning! -Kimberli (team member)
