Would you need to stop taking hormone blockers before surgery?
I am hoping to see an endo specialist in May, but my OB prescribed Orilissa to help with the pain and minimize growth of endo while I'm waiting because of my intense pain and progressive symptoms.
Has anyone ever been told to stop taking your hormone blockers prior to surgery due to the surgeon not being able to see the endo as well while on it?

. We will be sending good thoughts that you do indeed get to see your specialist in May! Fingers crossed. I know before my surgery, my doctor did make me stop taking my birth control or any medications for a few weeks before. I would definitely ask them this question and let them know your thoughts/concerns.
