Hi . I hope your recovery is going well. Were you in much pain before the surgery? How are you feeling now? It must be overwhelming to hear something like that, coming out of surgery. I'm glad you found this community and reached out. It is not unusual for scar tissue to form in people who have endometriosis and for that tissue to adhere to organs, resulting in a frozen pelvis. Removing the scar tissue can help as long as more scar tissue doesn't form in its place. There is no way to prevent adhesions, so there is not much you can do beyond taking care of yourself and being aware that it might regrow. Hopefully, the hysterectomy will help reduce the chances of regrowth. I wish I had more concrete answers, but endometriosis is unpredictable. When is your next doctor's appointment?
