Does anyone experience dizziness and fainting?

I have typically experienced fainting over the past year (since diagnosis) when I am ovulating but I am currently experiencing a three week period of persistent dizziness.

  1. Hi ,
I understand you wanting to reach out as this is certainly an alarming symptom. The only personal experience I have is with dizziness (not fainting), but it was in connection with my period as I would excessively bleed.

Have you been in contact with your doctor to discuss this? With any new or worsening symptom it is always a good idea speak to your doctor to rule out anything serious. Have you started a new medications/treatments this past year?

Hopefully others from the community will be along to share their possible feedback & experiences.

Do keep us posted if you can! We will be thinking of you.

    1. Hi there . I do experience a lot of dizzy spells, almost every day. I have only fainted, more so blacked out, a handful of times though. It seems to happen mostly when I stand up, around my period, and sometimes when my sugar is way too low. I don't really know the rhyme or reason or if there is an exact cause, but I have heard it can be common for some endometriosis warriors to suffer with POTS syndrome. I haven't been tested yet, as I think it is sort of time consuming, but my symptoms certainly match. So I hope someday I can go get proper testing to rule that out. I would definitely keep a journal of every little time you feel dizzy or faint. What was the temperature, the weather, had you eaten or drank anything, how were you feeling, etc. It is time consuming but will be really helpful to have if you decide to see/talk with a doctor. Hoping you do get some answers and relief soon from this. -Kimberli (team member)
