Symptoms??

Hey everyone,
I'm new here but for the past 2 years I've been having EXTREME pelvic pain & lower backaches. This gets so much worse during & before & after my period. This is accompanied by rectal pain, pain & pressure while pooping, constipation, nausea, & leg pains. My first period was when I was 10 & im 18 now. They've always been super irregular, sometimes they don't come at all or come 2 times a month & spotting. I've had pelvic ultrasounds to rule out cysts & nothing. Has anyone had this ?

  1. I'm so sorry you are having this problem. Have you had a transvaginal ultrasound? It sounds like you could have Adenomyosis which I was just diagnosed with. It frequently causes the symptoms your describing as well as the irregular cycle.
This means that your endometrial cells are absorbed into your uterine wall. They still swell and bleed just like normal your endometrial lining would which is what causes the irregularity in the cycle. I'm 100 percent not saying that you have this but many people who have Endo also have Adeno. Are you able to speak with your gyn about exploring either of these two diagnosis with you?

I hope you get the care you need soon!

    1. Hi there . How are you doing? Just wanted to thank you for being a part of this community and sharing your experience. I was diagnosed with adeno a few months ago as well! How have you been managing everything? -Kimberli (Team Member)

  2. , how have you been doing lately? Your symptoms and what you were dealing with sounds exactly like mine before I was diagnosed with endometriosis. SO sorry you are dealing with this all. I am hoping you have been able to find relief since you last commented and find some answers as well.

Many times like the commenter above said, those with endometriosis may also find they have adeno as well.

Here if you need to talk <3 Sending you good thoughts! -Kimberli (team member)
