I definitely know how pre-surgery nerves feel! Honestly, while I love meditation, sometimes that can be very hard to do when I’m nervous about something like a surgery. What I like to do instead is to distract myself with something like watching funny (or scary) movies, cooking elaborate meals, or going on walks listening to audiobooks — without the book playing, I’d just think about the surgery..lol.
