restless legs/insomnia/Orilissa cramps

Does anyone else also suffer with restless legs and insomnia? Taking OTC sleep aids just isn't helping, even Tylenol PM for pain. Basically anything with diphenhydramine. It didn't start until I was pregnant with my son (who is now 3 months) and it's just worse. 😩 but I just started Orilissa again and the first few weeks taking it I know the pain is brutal (just from my previous experience) and at night the pain is worse.

  1. I had RIDICULOUS insomnia from taking Orilissa - and I was on it twice! As far as the cramps, I would recommend a heating pad/alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen every 4-6 hours. Also, what kind of diet are you using to help prevent pain and further growth? Going gluten/dairy free helped my cramps immensely. I also only snack on vegan friendly foods which also helps. For the sake of not sleeping, I would stop the Orilissa altogether and find another option. Best of luck to you!

    1. I am so sorry you are dealing with this! It sounds so frustrating. However, yes.. I can absolutely relate. Both restless legs and insomnia. My restless leg seemed to stop once I stopped taking my birth control. My insomnia is still there when it's around my period time. Watching what I eat seems to be the only thing that seems to help me. Just a little bit though! I hope you find some sort of relief <3 Please know you are not alone and we are here for you. -Kimberli (team member)

      1. Hi,I too have this occasionally ,I noticed and read somewhere that magnesium deficiency can cause this so I upped my magnesium,I took a mild dosage occasionally. Also I would prop my knees while sleeping or put a cushion between my knees.Another thing that worked for me was avoiding chillies as much as possible from diet.So far it seems to be helping.

        1. I love that you have found some things that have helped you. And we sure do appreciate you sharing them with the community. I have heard the same thing about magnesium too! -Kimberli (team member)
