Infertility

Yes I have lots of experience with infertility. We had one baby 2 years ago from a successful IUI after several months of treatments. Currently undergoing another cycle of IUI for baby 2 as our first IUI and time intercourse cycles both failed. Our failed IUI cycle gave us a run for our money as it gave us no signs that anything had failed and i went 14 days without a period which is normally a sign there is a pregnancy.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us . Infertility can be such a tough subject to talk about, yet so many of us suffer from its consequences in silence. I hope everything works out for you 😀 – Jessie (team member)

    1. I feel sad to read about your strugglings. Still your LO is here - the happiest moment expected after years ttc. I know how it feels. I'm not new to infertility myself. We had to apply for donor egg ivf to conceive our first. And from the point of view of law, it was easier to fly abroad to apply for such a program. Looking back, I'd say that was the best decision made ever. Thus it did take a toll of us, because we both didn't know what to expect in a foreign country. Kiev seemed so friendly, but we were looking for compassionate clinic's staff. People on boards warned us not so many people speak English there..So we thought that would be really difficult for us to communicate and then keep in touch. But, on the contrary, things turned out to be vice versa. We were quite surprised with the fact there was no language barrier at all. This made me feel at ease. Didn't mean my post to be this long - lol.
I'm wishing you the best of luck and support ahead. Keep us updated. x

    2. I came back to support everyone in this boat. I myself went through the infertility nightmare. 2 failed OE IVF behind. Different meds and supplements to ''boost'' the chances only to get to know later my eggs got useless. I know how it feels. I know how much it hurts when you count on your own eggs and then just have to get there, - you'll need donor's ones. Or even the fact you might add some more meds and vitamins and those are going to help.. This all frustrates and makes at times angry. But strong ladies we are - we seek for more options. Our path was not easier or faster than others'. A year ago we did turned to the clinic in Kyiv for help. They matched us to a nice looking and absolutely healthy egg donor. This trip ended up with beautiful twins we'll be always thankful for.
This pains if it's bfn monthly. This pains harder if it's bfn in the end of ivf shot. It leaves scars but we keep on moving. This approach only helps us to finally achieve aims.

      1. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us Nancy. Goodness you went through a lot and I am so unbelievable happy for you that you now have beautiful twins! How is everything going these days? Happy to see you around in the community! 💛Kayleigh, Endometriosis.net team
