Curious

Can someone pleaee help, why I have got my period exactly a week after my last one ended.both extremely heavy with clots. I’m always 2 and half weeks apart.so this close together is not normal for me. Could it have anything to do with my endometriosis worsening?? Im so confused -how my lining could be so thick after just a week after my last cycle ?
