Bloating 2 weeks after laparoscopic surgery
Hi all, I’ve been very fortunate to have received surgery for my endometriosis two weeks ago. I had a complication with my kidney 12 hours post op but had the all clear when leaving hospital 3 days later. I’m doing well with my recovery, incisions all healing well. However, my lower tummy is so swollen still, and cramps every now and then. Apologies for tmi but it’s feels like I need to release gas but never can 😬 Has anyone else experienced the same at this stage in recovery please 🙏

. Wow, so glad your complication with your kidney did clear up, thank goodness. And SO happy to hear recovery is going well. I had that same feeling in my tummy for a few weeks after surgery. The gas they pump in you for surgery can linger for a while! Walk around as much as you can! And just try to keep it moving. Taking a Gas X helped me as well. And don't worry, it is never TMI here! 😉 Hoping you do find some relief soon. Here is to a continued speedy recovery! -Kimberli (Team Member)
