How to Steep the Best Cup of Tea

Herbal tea offers many health benefits. Each herb offers unique properties than can support your body with digestion, rest, and reducing inflammation.

So how exactly can you prepare the best cup of tea? It turns out I have been doing it all wrong for years.

1. Start with cold, clean water. Water is the base of tea so the better-quality water, the better the tea will taste.
2. Heat water to a simmer – not a boil which flattens the taste of the tea.
3. Only steep for 3-5 minutes, anything longer will make the tea taste bitter.
4. Don’t overcrowd your cup – 1 teabag or teaspoon per cup of tea.
