Natural Pain Killers: Turmeric

Between endometriosis, migraines, multiple sclerosis and a host of digestive issues, pain is not a stranger to my body. What I know to be true about my body is that the sooner I can get my body out of the pain cycle, the less likely I am to stay in it or have a reoccurrence. So, the name of the game is to stop the pain early and often.

Because I have a sensitive stomach, a lot of the prescriptive (and even over-the-counter pain medications) create more harm in my gut than they are effective with stopping my aches and pains. The risk doesn’t outweigh the benefit, so I seek out natural remedies for pain.

Turmeric definitely falls into this category. There are many benefits and many ways in which you can take it.
