Holiday Movies & Popcorn
Holiday movies and popcorn just go together so well, and in my efforts to manage self-care during the holidays, they’re quite a treat. It’s my downtime to rest and replenish my energy. But, if you’re like me and trying to eliminate dairy (that includes butter!), that can be a showstopper for popcorn. Thankfully, I’ve found a healthy alternative that satisfies my craving and honors my healthy habits.
I start with organic, non-GMO popcorn kernels from the grocery store. I’ll pop them on the stovetop and then top them off with some butter-flavored coconut oil and a hint of sea salt. You can also use some herb-infused oils in place of butter which are so flavorful – rosemary is my favorite.
