Skin irritation in the pelvic floor

Hey all,
So about two years ago I've started having all sorts of problems with my pelvic floor (fissure, and some general overtighten pelvic muscles issues), all these are extremely annoying, but are diagnosed and treated. However sometime along the way, I've started experiencing terrible irritation in the skin in the back of my anus and in the perineum when I'm walking. Sometimes it itches a bit, but it's mostly super sensitive and painfull when I walk, and it seems red.
I've visited a proctologist, a dermatologist and a family physician and none of them have a clue to what this could be. I've been referred to a special gynecologist but the appointment is only next year(!).

I thought this could be related to my endo since it comes and goes, weeks that i walk freely and then suddenly can't. However i've been told by my family physician that this could not be related to the endo since its not in the inside of my body...

Has anyone ever experienced some even remotely similar?
Thanks!

  1. hey endo warrior!! Recently I’ve had boils and cysts pop up on my groin, pubic area and inner thighs. I have stage 4 endometriosis and have been on multiple hormone treatments and I recently quit them… I honestly believe we get these things due to our hormone balance and stuff like that from our endometriosis. I still haven’t found out what the cause of my boils are but I have notice them flaring before my menstrualcycle which leads me to believe it’s from hormones… don’t know if this helps but it is an embarrassing topic to bring up but that’s one thing I looovvee about this website and we’re not alone or feel weird for taking about it. Hope u get some answers

    1. Hey ! Thank you so much for your reaction, thought I guess our symptoms are different, it made me feel better to see what you wrote😀 And I agree, I also blame the hormones for this, it could be also the hormones I'm treated with for all I know. It's just super weired and annoying when no one knows what you have. But I guess it's not new to us😉
