Could this be Endometriosis?

I’m 19 years old and I’ve been struggling with my period since April of this year. I stopped taking birth control and my periods got extremely worst but not cramps oddly. I have extreme butt pain where it feels like an immense amount of pressure constantly and it’s so painful and uncomfortable and it only happens when my period arrives.

I literally had to put my life on hold because it’s depressing and hard to deal with this pain. I have a feeling I have recto-vaginal endometriosis but not too sure. I have an ultrasound coming up soon but I get so anxious whenever my periods come.

I just wanted to get some opinions. Anything will truly help! Thank you in advance!

  1. Yes could be

Has your doctor discussed possibly getting a Laparoscopy in order to obtain a possible diagnosis?

Do keep us posted if you can & once you have had an ultrasound. Sending support & hugs your way.

    1. Thank you soo much! And yes she did bring it up however, in her whole career she hasn’t seen a 19 year old get the Laparoscopy surgery before so, I will probably be the first one she has dealt with but she did want to do the ultrasound first to see if there are any alarming signs and we will go from there. I will most definitely keep you guys updated! Thank you!!
