Healthy Sugar Substitutes
Last updated: December 2018
Sugar. It’s the legal white stuff that’s robbing us of vibrant health. It promotes inflammation, increases our risk of disease and weight gain, and worst of all, its irresistible taste makes it addicting.
So, how can you satisfy that sweet tooth without damaging your health? Turns out, some sweeteners are healthier for you than others.
Personally, I reach for the date or coconut-based alternatives.
- Coconut Nectar or Date Syrup are syrups that hits the “sweet spot” without spiking blood sugar levels
- Coconut Crystals and Date Sugar are a great alternative to regular sugar.
What are your favorite natural sugar substitutes?
