How to Select a Non-Dairy Yogurt

Navigating the grocery store when you're changing up your diet can be a challenge, just the yogurt section alone can be overwhelming. So I stopped by my local grocery store to highlight how to select the best yogurt for you.

If you're going dairy-free, look for yogurts that are made from almond, coconut, or cashew milk. Also, make sure that there's no carrageenan in the ingredient list.

To manage the sugar content, which can easily creep up, select the original, unsweetened yogurt. The ideal is for there to be no more than 10 grams of sugar (ideally only 1 or two grams) and the protein content to be greater than the sugar.
