Has anyone here tried anti-epileptic medication for endo pain?

I recently saw a pain management specialist for my chronic endo pain and she prescribed me some gabapentin, which is an anti-epileptic drug also used for neuralgic pain. I completely trust her, but I'd like to know what to expect when taking this medication, as an endo sufferer. Thanks in advance.

    1. Hi , just following up to see if this helped with your symptoms, and to see how you're feeling! Sending well wishes, Pam (team member)

      1. Hello Pam,

Thank you for your message ! Gabapentin actually does help with my chronic pain, I still have some pain, but it's way worse when I forget to take that medication. So I'm feeling mostly okay !
I actually saw my pain management doctor last week, she wants me to gradually stop taking gabapentin starting from August, while doing osteopathy if I still feel pain. I'm actually scared that if I stop taking that medication, I'll be in a lot of pain that osteopathy or allopathic medicine won't cure. I'll keep you all updated !
        Please take care.

      2. Hi . So happy to hear that the Gabapentin was helping you. I know your comment was from a few months ago, so just wanted to check in and see how you are doing now. Have you stopped the Gabapentin? We hope you are doing well and have been able to still control your pain! Sending you big hugs and good thoughts. Certainly let us know how you are doing ❤-Kimberli (team member)
