"I'm back. Here is a collage featuring 3 paintings I created that are currently in an art gallery as part of a community exhibit. One of them, the E painting is for Endometriosis. It's called "All Wrapped up in Barbed Wire" These photos were taken by someone else so that's why they aren't up close"art I created in an exhibit

  1. Hi . Welcome back! I wish we had better software for uploading images. I had to zoom my screen to see these, but I love them! The E with the barb wire says a lot about living with endometriosis. So powerful. How are your symptoms these days?
I just saw your post from June when you said your husband wanted to separate. I am so sorry no one responded. Your post must have gotten buried somehow, but I wanted to see how you are doing. Have you worked things out either with him or on your own? Please know that we really are here for you and that I am thinking of you.
Thank you so much for sharing your artwork. How cool that you were part of this exhibit! - Lori (Team Member)

  2. Hey , It's nice to see you back! Congrats on having your art in a gallery! That's really exciting! I agree that the painting dedicated to endometriosis with barbed wire seems super accurate. Have you made any other pieces of art inspired by your experience with endometriosis? I'd love to hear about it. - Kat (Team Member)

  3. Thank you for your wonderful comment.
Hopefully, I can get down to the art center soon to get a better close up picture of the Endo painting.
Thankfully, my symptoms aren't too bad these days. My gyn that I have been seeing from the very beginning of this journey back in 2007 quit to become a IVF specialist at a clinic in another city. I wash crushed because she had completely forgotten to tell me & she was the one good specialist I had. Now I'm on a waiting list to find a new one.

No, my husband & I have stayed separated, that's been quite the experience. I took some time away from all my support groups while I hunted for a home & took some time for myself. I'm still house hunting unfortunately. It's been very hard because I have felt so rejected. I am glad to be back here

I'm planning on doing an update post

  4. Thank you for your kind words. I have only one other painting so far for Endo but I dream of having a small exhibit purely of Endo themed paintings.

  5. I love that dream! Sending you positive vibes that it will one day come true!
I'm sorry to hear that you and your husband are still separated. That sounds really difficult. I can totally relate to your struggle for finding your footing while also feeling rejected. Hang in there, you will get through it. Please know that we're here to support you when you need to listening ear! Sending peace. - Kat (Team Member)

  6. What a great idea, ! I am with Kathy. I would really love to see that body of work should you pursue it. I am sorry to hear that you and your husband remain separated. I hope you are able to get on your feet soon and find a new home. I'll be looking for your update. Sending lots of gentle hugs your way. - Lori (Team Member)
