Traveling with Endo

How do you prepare for travel? Do you have tips or tricks that make it easier to get from point A to point B – or just help to ease the anxiety? Please share!

  1. Had the peroid the week before. I tend to plan my life around my peroids. Then whilst on holiday, I another one. I was told it was the heat!

    1. goodness. That does sound so stressful. It can be so hard to plan around our periods when they tend to have a mind of their own. I know when I am traveling, sometimes the stress and change of routine makes mine come. I don't know if it is because the stress of traveling (even when it's somewhere I can't wait to go!) messes with my hormones or what! But it is certainly annoying. Thanks for being here and sharing your experience. How have you been feeling lately? -Kimberli (team member)

  2. Given that while traveling it can be hard to find things one needs, I make sure I bring along everything that helps with cramping and all that. For me that’s usually lavender essential oil, a small rechargeable, vibrating heating pad, a handful of sanitary pads, a small blanket and maybe a travel pillow, ibuprofen, and a large water bottle. Of course it depends on the method of travel as well, whether it’s a road trip or a flight, etc.

    1. thank you so much for being here and sharing with us and the community dear warrior! I would say, these are great traveling essentials to bring! My travel bag looks about the same as well. Of course, like you said, it does differ depending on whether traveling by car or flight. I also like to bring my TENS unit along with me too. 😀 How have you been feeling lately?? -Kimberli (team member)

    2. I’ve been feeling pretty well! Thanks for asking😀 💕
