Keri Wiginton

Endometriosis Community Advocate Keri WigintonKeri is a journalist with a focus on health and wellness. Now in her 40s, she was surgically diagnosed with endometriosis when she was 24, more than a decade after her period pain started. Despite trying hormonal treatment and undergoing two laparoscopic ablation surgeries, her endometriosis persisted. She finally got relief for some of her worst symptoms in 2021 —from excision surgery with an endometriosis specialist. She continues to avidly research the condition and shares everything she can with those in the community. Her symptoms haven’t completely resolved. But excision surgery, along with dietary and lifestyle changes, have helped her thrive.
