Natural Pain Killers: Chamomile

I find one of the biggest benefits to using food as medicine – especially when it comes to pain relief – is that it’s easily available in the kitchen and the cost tends to be significantly lower than their over-the-counter or prescriptive counterparts.

Chamomile tea is believed to be a natural remedy for sleep, but also inflammation; It can even reduce swelling caused by endometriosis – and is extremely appealing because you can find this at virtually at coffee shop or restaurant.

Of course, you always want to choose quality ingredients when seeking therapeutic benefits, but this is an easy one to have on hand even if you carry your own tea bag in your purse.
