The Cost of Beauty

I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but I rarely leave the house without a little mascara and lip gloss. There’s something about it that makes me feel a little more feminine and “presentable”. Over the years, though, as I became more aware of the foods I’m putting in my body, I also became curious about the products I’m putting on my body. I was shocked to learn how many hormone-disrupting chemicals are in the products I put directly on my lips. Thankfully, there are several brands of higher integrity that enable me to take care of my health... and still enjoy a little sparkle on my lips.
