Tips for pre and post surgery?

Preparing for surgery can be scary… Especially if you have no idea what to expect! A lot of our community members are seeking tips to prepare for surgery and tips for after surgery. Share your experiences and what has helped you through this time.

  1. I've only had one, but what really helped me was going into the pre-op with questions in mind alread. I found the questions I needed while researching online. And then after the pre-op, prep little things that make recovery a little easier. Set out outfits, have a new show ready, a book to read, etc.

Also have your support system ready. Not sure what I would have done without my partner and family.

    1. , such great tips!! Thanks so much for sharing. And yes, I agree with the support system.. it can make all the difference! - Pam (team member)

    2. Agree with Pam, such great tips dear ! Thank you so much for sharing. Support system being prepared definitely was what helped me the most as well. Not sure what I would have done without them. Also found having meals already prepped and stored away and all things I would need at a low level so I wouldn't have to reach for them, helped too!

How have you been feeling? We hope you are doing well! -Kimberli (team member)
