Symptoms

I feel like my symptoms are getting worse and at this point I’m not sure it’s endo. I’m scheduled for a lap in July but I’m worried about my symptoms. I now have daily bowel spasms, nausea, fatigue and pelvic pain. The severity and symptoms don’t sound like what I’ve heard from other people with endo. Thoughts?

  1. Hi , My heart is going out to you on experiencing those symptoms and that they just feel like they are getting worse and worse. That's got to be really tough to go through. Unfortunately, what you mentioned are very common symptoms associated with endo. I am going to be linking quite a few articles below because I want to address everything that you mentioned. No pressure to look through them at all though.

    Bowel Spasms/Bowel Issues: https://endometriosis.net/symptoms/bowel-bladder-problem.

    Nausea: https://endometriosis.net/living/nausea.

Fatigue: https://endometriosis.net/symptoms/fatigue. This article talks about ways to work around fatigue for one of our advocates: https://endometriosis.net/living/fatigue-hacks.

Pelvic Pain: https://endometriosis.net/symptoms/pelvic-pain. We have a physical therapist that shared a video on how to reduce pelvic pain that you can see here: https://endometriosis.net/video/reduce-pelvic-pain as well.

I really hope that helps and that you have more low pain days than not before your lap in July. Have you tried to get in with your regular obgyn or specialist to discuss how to curb those symptoms in the meantime? Sending you so many good thoughts and vibes dear . 💛 Warmly, Kayleigh, Endometriosis.net team

    1. Hi ! I just wanted to stop by here and see how you were feeling since you posted this last week. Thinking of you. 💛 Wishing you a low pain day. Kayleigh, Endometriosis.net team

      1. I share this too . I feel I'm developing endo at my 30s. Runs in my family . I have the constant nausea Ill feeling when on my period time and sporadic blow out bowels around period time too. Not just that it's lasting longer in my system now and feels I don't get a break afterwards the PMs starts back up again :/

I also have requested a laproscopy for end of July . Waiting to hear back from assigned hospital.

      2. Oh goodness, if I could give you a giant hug right now, believe me, I would. I'm so sorry you are dealing with that right now. It's great that you are getting a lap in July and I am truly hoping for some answers for you. Have you found anything that has helped your nausea and bowel troubles? 💛 Kayleigh, Endometriosis.net team

    2. Yes , distant hugs 🤗

When did you discover your endometriosis? What were your symptoms?

Unfortunately , I have not found a relief way for my symptoms . I've heard though from online searching some foods could trigger the information more like dairy, sugar, caffeine, alcohol ...so probably means around that monthly cycle to avoid those for sure . Like today , I was craving a smoothie 🥤 from the high heat outside usually get it with yogurt but I took out the dairy out of it . I'm currently approaching my period and haven't been feeling well at all . Diet has one main impact on an overall wellbeing's health. What have you done to relieve yours ?

The soonest they gave me for laproscopy was end of July and that can't come soon enough ! My preferred hospital of choice wasn't available till September! Oh well ! It will have to be at this other hospital ...

      1. Hi ! Well, that's good to hear because I have plenty of distant hugs to hand out your way! We have a lot of community members that mention cutting out inflammatory foods have really helped their endometriosis symptoms. We have an advocate named Alene that writes about endo friendly diets and homeopathic alternatives quite often. I'm linking one of her articles about friendly foods for endo if you'd like to take a look at it: https://endometriosis.net/living/best-foods. I am so excited for your appointment in July. I truly hope you get some answers! Until then, I hope to continue to see you around the community dear tanissh! 💛💛💛 Kayleigh, Endometriosis.net team

    3. Hi

      Thank you for sharing ☺️

My past post I meant inflammation not information .

What symptoms do you experience from endometriosis? I'm curious to know .

Is it possible to experience endometriosis symptoms not only on your period ?
I feel now it's getting worse because ...like as if when I'm on my period too the bleeding gets stuck inside me from maybe scar tissue build up 🤷 I was younger I bled alot more than I do now. Now it's more intense symptoms than ever than actual bleeding .

My bleeding stopped but I still feel ill from nausea , loose stool , constipation, heavy bloating and just yuck .

That procedure can't come soon enough 🤦

We women go through so much and men dare to complain ! ;/

      1. 💜🌷Thank you for your kind input message 🥰❤️

Yes! Like a relief off my shoulders finally a name to put all this symptoms I've experienced and all the struggle suffering illness I've felt ;( Our body really talks to us and mine was at a breaking point of screaming outloud enough is enough !

Finally I can say I know now why I'm feeling the way my body was reacting and it's finally official of endometriosis.
I had the gut intuition as we had hereditary roots of it . Almost music to my ears as if I wasn't really going crazy after all or over exaggerating to people about what I been feeling.

I am now determined and eager to now take the action in the right direction in going into treatment plans.

Thank you so much 🙏 New Endo warrior here 🙌💪💯✨

Hugs to everyone here ❤️ We women are the real warriors heroes of all we go through hormonally etc.

      2. Thank you 💜🌷🥰🙏♥️

✅✅✅ At last confirmed as I knew from my gut intuition and like literally speaking hah gut 🤭🙃

I definitely want to see a specialist now in Endometriosis . So, when I see my women's doctor in 2 weeks I will see and hopefully she actually specializes in that herself otherwise to have her refer me to one indeed .

The doctor is wonderful but the nurse line communication is not the greatest ;/

Today I had been trying to get a hold of any nurse on the nurse line for some questions and nobody took me urgently and this I noticed since few months back . New management I don't know but it didn't used to be like that when I first started at this place ;(

Once I'm there they attend to me very nicely but their phone communication and message online portal system lately I haven't been too pleased with sadly .

🙏🙏🙏 But the nurse from the hospital of procedure yesterday morning eventually called me up about an hour ago checking in on me and I told her she was more responsive than my woman's doctor nurse line 🤷🤦😬🤭 So , then she said don't hesitate to call us back if you can't reach again from your woman's doctor nurse line .

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍♥️💘💝💖💗💓💞💕💌💟❣️ Love and warm hugs to all of us Endo warriors 💯
