  1. Hi all,
I’m 49, had ovarian cysts most my life, irregular periods, very heavy periods some brown blood at times, adhesions removed in my mid 20s, widening and thickening of uterus. Had a D&C done once to slow bleeding down but didn’t help much. A few gynecologist wanted to do full hysterectomies most my life so I’d quit going and find a new one, well the past 8-9 years it’s gotten worse, I’ve had pain on right side of body that I recently realized its near periods that it gets debilitating and it affects my foot, leg, hip, pelvic area, lower back, kidney pain, arm and shoulder pain. Been to pain management drs all say something different or gave injections that made me feel worse so quit those. I recently started looking up my symptoms and it all makes sense now! That last gyn i seen about 5 yrs ago said it could turn into endo but still only wanted to do hysto because my age i guess, but it’s heart breaking to realize this is most likely endo and noone seemed to care ALL these years.. others in my family have issues too, but I finally get to see a New Gyn tomorrow who knows something about this and I’m scared but excited! I hope she is one of the good caring ones because i really want my life back and to be able to walk normal or anything normal again.. I usually tend to forget things so i pray I don’t forget anything on my visit, just trying to research what to ask as well!
Sending positive vibes out to all who has gone thru this or is now, we really are warriors!

    1. Hi there . Thank you for sharing your journey with us. It sounds like you have been through so much. So sorry to hear you are struggling still though. It truly is heartbreaking to hear of your suffering and so many other women suffering out there, that doctors don't take seriously or try to truly help. Crazy to think how many women go without being properly diagnosed as well.

We hope your visit with your new GYNO was helpful and that you are now doing well since you last posted. Do keep us posted on how you are doing if you can. Sending big hugs <3 -Kimberli (Team Member)
