My Endo Story

I am 25. I have stage 4 Endometriosis. It took me around a decade to finally be diagnosed. I had an emergency surgery for an ovarian cyst torsion. That’s when my doctor found the endo. I’ve had two surgeries for it- done by my obgyn. One ablation when he found the endo. Then one excision after years of trying different meds and going into chemical menopause on Lupron (which was a nightmare) Now I’m on depo provera and amitriptyline for pain management. Still have bad days but much better. I want to try taking a healthier approach to healing myself but this is what has worked for me for now. I also really hope I can have a kid one day. It’s the worst feeling. 💛
