Never thought it was endo...
Endometriosis was never even in my vocabulary until a little over a year ago, even though I have dealt with painful periods for 25 years. Now multiple TVUS, MRI, CT and 2 surgeries later, I no longer have a uterus or fallopian tubes and am hoping that my pain may be manageable now.
This is just the beginning
I see an amazing pelvic pain specialist who told me after my hysterectomy that this is not the end of our treatment, this is just the beginning and we will figure out how to deal with issues together as they arise. Through it all I was able to have 4 healthy children.
